With every major trend in society, along comes with it a sub-culture. In cryprocurrency, like other uber-popular trends, certain terms and acronyms have emerged and have been put on a pedestal in this sub-culture. We’re all as familiar with AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions as we are with the infamous quote, “when moon?” However, one of these terms have proven to be pivotal to the culture and useful in the vetting and development of ICOs (initial coin offerings) and blockchain start-ups. For clarity, that term is AMA.

The primary goals of blockchain are decentralization and mass adoption. There’s no better way to encourage mass adoption than to build useable products and to use those products when they’re available. For instance, Medium, the blogging platform, recently suspended users/bloggers of cryptocurrency based blogs. This suspension lead to inquiries and appeals to have accounts restored, but to no avail. After all, Medium is a centralized blogging platform that can censor whatever they like. Lucky for us, Steemit, the blockchain based blogging platform, exists.

While many have made the change over, its a considerable amount of pro-decentralization, blockchain enthusiasts that haven’t. This is counter-productive to say the least. In another example, YouTube has also followed suit in cracking down on crypto related content, even suspsending content from popular crypto-influencer, Suppoman. Again, lucky for us, there are a good selection of blockchain based, decentralized video content platforms for you to choose from (i.e. THETA, Viuly, and more).

Now we have a platform for the currently non-standard AMA sessions we’re so used to in this space. ReplyBlock, is an app developed on TOMO Chain with a working app for iOS and Android users. The app is a blockchain focused Q & A platform that easily provides a decentralized alternative to Reddit and current methods used for AMAs. ReplyBlock allows users to ask questions, answer questions, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

I encourage you to check out the platform and really provide feedback on it. As supporters of blockchain and decentralization, we must take strides towards using dApps and moving them closer to mass adoption.
