CryptoCurrency Market Capitalization Update...Blood in the StreetssteemCreated with Sketch.

At the time of the writing this article on June 26th, 2017, the CryptoCurrency Market Capitalization is $91,866,700,000 and the 24 hour volume is $5,440,984 with BTC Dominance of 42.8%.

On June 20th, 2017, the CryptoCurrency Market Capitalization was $116,618,000,000 and the 24 hour volume was $4,902,380 with BTC Dominance of 37.43%.

That is almost $25 Billion that has left the CryptoCurrency Market during today's bloodbath compared to June 26th. The last time the Total Market Capitalization was at this level was June 4th, 2017. The correction of June 15th brought the Market Capitalization to $92,753,300,000.

Any thoughts on this? Do you see this as a buy opportunity? Is the volatility becoming too much to stomach? Is the bull run over? Will BTC make upward strides in its dominance?

    This is just a normal correction. The crypto world is expanding fast and it is normal that we see higher highs and lower lows. The market will recover fast. This is the time to buy into the crypto world!

    I agree. I'm in it for the long haul and plan to ride this out. If you have any extra fiat lying around, now is a great buying opportunity. It's like buying items at the supermarket for 25% off.

        I think it is simply a correction. This is normal happenings in financial markets.
        Bitcoin is causing some uneasiness going into User Activated Soft Fork.
        Ethereum is going to go through growing pains especially with the influx of all the ICO's triggering sell orders. Ethereum is still in it's infancy and I hope that greed and over saturation of ICO's does not make people loose belief in this amazing technology. I am holding long and you guys should too. And people stop investing in ICO's simply because you want a Ferrari . You are hurting the blockchain. Get out if you cant handle the volatility . Invest in a ICO that you sincerely believe in. I fell in love with crypto because of the fascinating technology!

        I agree with you...these ICO's are getting crazy. Most people don't even know what they are investing in, or believe in the projects. They are just thinking about quick money. I've been in BTC/LTC for years and love what they stand for. In recent months I just started branching out to Alts such as Steem (which I also truly believe in). Once people start to realize how revolutionary the "Blockchain" can be and the potential it carries, then we will truly see some amazing things follow.

        Don't worry about the recent fall, all cryptos are down, it is called a market correction and it happens to all asset markets from time to time. After prices go up high and quick lots of people start to pull out to realize their profits, other people believe that the market is overvalued and other people just get scared and run out. It is ideal to sell before the correction but if you find yourself in the middle of it it is best to hold your coins and wait for the rebound.

            Yes a little rough sailing, some choppy seas. I too was eyeing those $25 BILLS that jumped ship. Ouch.

            Then the only live-streaming program I found were a bunch of guys mad as hell at CoinBase and it was because they were out of the market. They were bellyaching because they had sold and felt they were locked out and couldn't get back in. CoinBase and others were down for hours and it was hard to do anything. We should have known: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Mad World.
