JPMorgan: Cryptocurrency is Unlikely to Disappear [Yes, Really]

JPMorgan’s mixed signals on bitcoin persist. The top US bank based on assets has released what’s been dubbed a “Bitcoin Bible” for investors, conceding that cryptocurrencies aren’t going away while simultaneously warning investors about a looming 50% or so drop in the BTC price. Meanwhile, JPMorgan’s CEO Jamie Dimon, whose distaste-turned-disinterest in bitcoin made headlines for months, hopefully ok’d the resources to create the bitcoin manual. Otherwise, someone’s job could be on the line. The bitcoin bible, which is comprised of 71-pages of crypto, covers topics ranging from the technology of bitcoin to its use cases, not to mention the hurdles that it faces.

Good info in there. Thanks very much

The 24h volume on Tether is a bit worrisome, no?

If Tether turns out to be fraudulent, I don't even want to know what kind of losses we'll be looking at.

Tether has more volume than Ethereum!

yeah i been watching that as well, i would love to hear more if you dig up any research.

I also think Ebay will not make the bitcoin move. Scott is right. With that kind of volume and transaction times, they toss in way to much downside risk. And i dont personally think thats their style.

It would be great if the e commerce site like eBay & amazon are accepting bitcoin which will lead this crypto to a new high but the bitcoin tech have to work on their transaction fee if they want bitcoin to use as a mode of payment.

Good work,very nic post.
