Coinmarketcap.com: Some coins are having issues with their display information?

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago  (edited)

I found this to be a bit bizarre. Coinmarketcap.com has had some unusual activity, lately. In the following twitter post, I point out 2 coins. Firstcoin and Regalcoin. I am fairly familiar with the two and their recent growth in popularity. Both of them have been doing very well, soaring through the ranks and making it into the top 100. I think they may have both been in the top 50. Firstcoin, I definitely remember, was ranked at #27 before this. However, due to some unexplained reason, both of these coins are now near the bottom of the list, with their market cap and circulating supply substituted with a "?". If anyone has any information about what's behind this strange activity, I would like to know. Is it temporary? Will the coins' info be restored with their original positions?

If this is what is being theorized by the community for Regalcoin, then that makes sense. Could this case be made for Firstcoin? Firstcoin was also at a very high position, with a market cap of almost 200 million. Also, DJ Naydee removed his video, or maybe he "delisted" it.

Yes, I know. Regalcoin and Firstcoin are both MLM and lending scams. I've come to realize this through experience. I do not support these types of services, and I would not recommend giving them your money. They will deceive you into thinking they are profitable and safe for accruing wealth. Maybe for the short term, but they have the ability to change that when it is convenient for them, causing members to lose their investments if the scam operators decide to close up shop. Please be safe, crypto enthusiasts.
