Are PAT coins and PAT tokens the same thing?
PAT tokens are supposed to be non tradable and rewarded solely on performance/reputation not on popularity, wealth etc... if that is the case then what is the ICO all about? I mean if PAT tokens are being sold at the beginning this mean who can afford to buy tons of it will have high reputation from the start.

What you missed, are that PATs help you form contracts.
There is another currency awarded that is non-tradeable, that represents your reputation. By having a high reputation score, you are awarded a dividend of PATs.
