Sorry for being slightly off-topic here. I'm just trying to learn. I wonder if someone could explain something for me. Noticed this on steemd

Anyone know what "votes for" means? Is that proxying?

    I think those are just the witness votes. There are many great channels on discord who would give you a lot more insight into the mechanics of Steemit. Another cool website like Steemd.com is SteemDB.com. For SteemD, the creator is @roadscape, so that's probably a good point of contact for technical questions :)
