My Suspicion is that Bitfinex is a Manipulaton Front

Bitfinex has been accused by some of manipulating the price of Bitcoin, they seem to be the only exchange that trades IOTA, and at the hint of U.S. scrutiny, they have decided to drop all of their U.S. retail customers.
