Each day the prices explode again and again
What's going on in the cryptosphere right now is beyond good and evil. Billions of Fiat money flow into the market every day, which is reflected in the sharpest price increases. To symbolize this absolutely astronomical rise, I have chosen the snapshot of Coinmarketcap exactly one year ago. I expected prices to be much lower than they are now. But I really wouldn't have expected such a striking difference. It was seldom so easy to become a millionaire as to throw a few thousand dollars into the crypto-market a year or two ago.
The market cap on 18/12/16 was exactly $14.655 billion.
Now to compare today's market cap: $642.845 billion
Even a monkey would make the massive profits right now
Imagine that you would give a monkey a million dollars, which he could distribute on the Coinmarketcap top 50 by pushing a button. I am absolutely certain that even this monkey, which has no idea of the whole technology behind it, would be able to make massive profits without any problems.
A view into the glass sphere
Nobody knows for how long this almost risk-free investment has been possible and I am not the one who will promise you a Holy Grail. In my opinion, however, the course will once again increase considerably, especially in view of the forthcoming holidays. It's a gold rush and as you know, it's not just a good sign. Especially because many small investors are hoping for big money and without a lot of prior knowledge invest money in a technology that they don't even begin to understand.
As soon as the prices collapse, this could lead to a kind of mass panic, because there is no well-founded confidence and a proper understanding in the blockchain.
There's something I can promise you:
Blockchain technology is here to stay. We are still in the beta phase, which means that most applications are not yet ready for mass adaptation. Once we reach this point, however, this technology will (hopefully) positively affect the lives of all people.
A lot of money has been invested to inflate projects and thus disastrously overvalue them, so it's only a matter of time until the first big blockchain projects have to jump over the plank. In my opinion, the best antidote to impending price losses is a blatant diversification into the entire cryptosphere, as is very easy to do with Iconomi, for example.
One last piece of advice at the end
Buy only in blockchains, which you also understand and where you can see real world value. If you trust in a project and the team behind it, you don't have to worry too much if the price is temporarily underwater and this will be the case sooner or later. I mean this is the most volatile investment market in the world.
