The John McAfee Effect and how you can take advantage of it

I am sure everybody who is in love with cryptocurrency will know who John McAfee is, but what most people are yet to find out is that he took up Santa Claus place for this Christmas. John has started to give out his "coin of the day" pick for the last few days.

Those coins he picked will spike up more than 100% in only a split second. While my friend who are reading this post thinking to jump in on his "coin of the day" train; I will have to tell you a simple hard truth:

His twitter post is always "later" than the pump, meaning when the time he posted it on twitter he and his team would have already pumped up the price. Just look at today example:

He posted it at 9:59pm (Hong Kong time). And let's look like the price spike for HMQ in Bittrex:

As you can see, the price went up right after his post. There is no way we could have enjoyed the pump, if we were not already brought this coin an hour or days before.

However, there is still a chance for us to grasp this short term fluctuation to make short term gain possible.

Let's look at the chart after the pump for his "coin of the day":

For every coin he picked, there WILL be a huge dip for the first 30minutes or so. Then the price will go up again. This is due to the simple fact that people who has already "hodling" the coin will sell high, leading to the drop. If you want to make a short term gain, just WAIT for the dip for about 1/3 of the high point, then enter it. You will see some continuous growth for the coming day.

WHAT NEXT AFTER you purchased his coin of the day?

1. If you are looking for short term gain:
   Just make you short term game and go out of the game

2. If you are looking for longer term or coin sustainability:
   Go do some research, follow the coin twitter; go to reddit; bitcoin forum; check out the coin website to make you own judgment; and be rational, because John McAfee is not a God and he will never be one. His goodness is only to bring awareness for us to know more of a coin that he himself might believe in.
