Hey guys, cryptocurrencies are pretty much down across the board today with the exception of a few.
In this video I walk you guys through my watch list as well as a list of cryptos I currently hold and am trading.
What's a little bit wierd is oftentimes lately it's when Bitcoin is up and rising quickly that people are dumping alts to go into Bitcoin. Also sometimes when Bitcoin falls other cryptos follow it down as well but I thought it was kind of interesting altcoins were down so much today.
Some cryptos I think are buys today or at least worth keeping an eye on are Monero, Komodo, Bitshares, Siacoin, Dash, Steem ARK, XEM, LItecoin, and NEO.
I mentioned StarCoin in the video. I havn't jumped in yet but it's one I've been watching. The only exchange to deal with StarCoin is YoBit. One cool thing about YoBit is you can collect free cryptos on the site. Small amounts of Bitcoin and Dash but also thousands in various altcoins. I'm not sure how much I trust the exchange so proceed with caution but I can't pass up free coins. Here's a link to that exchange if you want to collect free coins or are interested in Star https://yobit.io/?bonus=GJfPN.
I'd love to hear your guys opinions? How are your portfolios doing? What are you watching? What are you buying today? Drop a comment in the comments section below...
I had bought up some EOS on HitBTC but one thing I don't like is that with an EOS investment right now you have to leave it on an exchange. I'm not worried about it being legit when it comes out next year. BitShares and Steemit are already proof it will be legit.

I'm not really familiar with that one, is it a currency or a project? Always interested in finding interesting new ones.

It is Dan Larimer's 3rd project. He developed BitShares and STEEM. EOS is going to be like Ethereum but instead of all hype with no actual working applications running on it, EOS will be a platform that will actually work and have systems like STEEM and BitShares running on it. It is based on the Graphine blockchain tech just like the first two projects but it will be able to do more transactions / second and will be multi threaded.
You can buy it now but the chain won't launch until about June 2018. Right now they are getting wide distribution of the coin.

Hey buddy got a question for you, hope you don't mind me always comming to you with my noob questions. So I'm really intrigued by this DMarket ICO. I setup an account and sent $250 in Bitcoin. I don't understand how I actually get my coins though. They ask for an Ethereum addresss so I can plugin my Ether address but curious how or where they are going to send my coins and how I access them? I've never done an ICO before.

I checked out the website to see a little bit more info on how they were running their ICO. There wasn't a lot of info but it seems like they will take BTC or ETH but you have to be sending from a wallet where you own the private keys which is typical.
From what I'm understanding when they finally launch essentially you will be able to unlock the DMarket native currency with the private key from your ETH wallet.
But the part that is confusing me is that you are saying they ask for an Ethereum address from you which is weird. My understanding would be that they would have an Ethereum address and you would send the coins from your wallet over to it but would backup the private keys and then once they launch it you will be able to recover their native currency with the private keys from the address you sent the coins from.
But I'm not 100% sure because of you saying they are asking for an address from you.

I'm new to this whole ICO thing and I havn't used my ethere wallet much either. I think I have the hang of it though. So you can contribute with Bitcoin or Ethereum. I notice when I login to my ether wallet on my trezor which I believe is the same as just using the site you can see the ERC20 tokens to the bottom right of the screen. I never really knew what an ERC20 token is but if I'm getting this correct I think basically altcoins that are built on ethere? On my list I see BAT and other coins. Anyhow, currently Dmarket isn't listed there but I imagine later down the road it should show there or at the very least I have the ability to add it. I picked up a few coins. I'm not really a gamer but I see all my nieces and nephews obsessed with minecraft and counterstrike and all this and it does seem like there's not many marketplaces to sell digital goods. I also see digital real estate and all this stuff selling for huge money so I can see it being a growing industry.
There's not a lot of info out there about this company or this ICO. I have seen a few complaints like how does this company do anything differently from the couple other markets who allow people to sell and trade digital goods and also heard some people picking about vulnerbilities in the code but that is way over my head. I put a bit in what I can afford to lose but I have a buddy who recommended this ICO and he's making pretty good money buying and selling skins and cashing out people for skins so I threw a couple bucks in and am gonna roll the dice.

REDD has potential to grow when REDD-ID get's published and when it hits major exchanges. Also STORJ has good potential, my fiance has set mini STORJ mining (or as they call it drive farming) setup and we are hoping that it will get profitable.

I'm pretty much done with XRP. I'm gonna keep a bit in there as a longterm thing hoping for a longshot but I honestly don't see it doing much.
As far as NEO I'm scared buying in at these levels but I do believe it will go at least above $100 see people calling for $600. I'm going to move my NEO over to NEON wallet today and start collecting my gas
