Deflationary Crypto

There is a hot new trend in Crypto right now and it's getting scarce, literally. Devs are creating Cryptos that start with all the coins that they are ever going to have and instead of being "mined" they are destroyed over time. The idea is that instead of increasing the circulation (which can lower the price) they deflate, causing scarcity and thus raising the price.

Bomb and its Importance

As an altcoin enthusiast you may have heard about this trend starting with BOMB, a revolutionary "experiment" in crypto. While it might have been a simple experiment in the beginning, Bomb has shaken crypto's foundation going from pennies to $12 in less than 30 days on CoinMarketCap! It is $8 at the time of this writing. But being first isn't always best.

Bomb burns one of its coins on each transaction and there are no decimal fractions. So if you send 100 Bomb to someone they will receive 99. It began with only 1,000,000 and is slowly marching to zero. Weird idea and insanely popular. The problem is that you can never send one Bomb as it would be destroyed AND each transaction costs the current price. That $12 Bomb cost $12 to send. Whoa, there! What if it goes to $100?!

As with all things Crypto, a newer better version is not always far behind. Enter Nuke. The project is officially called Half-Life but the community only really ever refers to it as Nuke. They also say that Nuke is a better Bomb for good reason.

Nuke - a Bigger, Better Bomb

For full disclosure, I have drunk the Nuke Kool-Aid and am a holder of this coin. I don't get paid to shill or anything like that, however, I am very excited about this project and what it could mean for everyone in Crypto. Always DYOR (do your own research) and don't just take some random idiot's word online.

The developers of Nuke made several major adjustments to the idea behind Bomb and I feel are producing a solid Crypto with real world use. Most importantly, they added 18 decimals and changed the rate of burn to 2%. Someone sent 100 Nuke will receive 98 but if they are sent 1 then they will receive .98 Nuke! This burn process continues until there are so many Nuke left and then it stops (I believe it burns until there are 16 decimals left). Nuke will never be completely destroyed.

Secondly, Nuke is integrating utility into their token (it's an ERC 20) with plans for Daaps. Utility will also include the ability to use Nuke to purchase pizza (via gift cards) that should remind users of the early days of Bitcoin. :-)

Another great thing that Nuke has going for it will be the time locked tokens. Both the Nuke Foundation AND the project Devs are committed to locking up half of their tokens for ten years and one year respectively. This type of action goes a long way to ensure community trust that the project won't be abandoned. In combination with FREE airdrops and giveaways I really see this helping Nuke gaining traction faster than a lot of other Crypto projects flooding the market.

So how you are suppose to get a hold of Nuke since it can't be mined? The growing community has contests, rewards for contributions, and airdrops lined up to help distribute Nuke's one million tokens. At the time of writing this Nuke is currently listed on DDEX, ForkDelta, and Token.store but is not listed on CMC yet. I assume CMC will be picking it up shortly. In the meantime, you can track its progress on the Delta App or Blockfolio.

Get Your Own Nuke

While I am invested in Nuke and an active community member, I do not have many other specifics yet to share. The project is only a couple weeks old and while it's evolving rapidly, it is still in the early stages. The white paper is not released but you can visit their website, telegram, or discord channels (links below).

In summary, I encourage you to learn more about the new Deflationary phenomenon that is catching on in the Crypto community. See for yourself how Crypto is evolving and get in one of these projects sure to leave its mark going forward.
