Taking a similar stance as coinbase, you are no longer allowed to send funds from Binance directly to an ICO program or Token Sale, you must use your personal wallet. Here is the direct quote:

Excellent question. I believe it is because they do not want the potential backlash from people who lost money on exit scams. For example, thousands of users may create support tickets attempting to have Binance reverse the transactions. This happens often, and will happen more often as more new people get interested in cypto without fully understanding how the blockchain works.
In short, they don't want any sort of liability to be shifted on them.
