Interview with Giovanni Lesna of HEDGE

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

Wow, that's so interesting. I might be missing something here, but I guess I don't quite get how Hedge helps "brings crypto to the masses" if it serves as a way for people to more easily invest in altcoins. While I do see the value of this, it seems more like Hedge helps bring "speculation of crypto" to the masses. But I guess that still drives currency doesn't it? Geez I feel like I've been getting a degree in economics since learning about crypo haha. Great interview.

Yeah you're definitely right about the speculation aspect here. No doubt it's not exactly helping to educate investors on what exactly they are putting their money into.. Sadly that's what this space is slowly turning into it seems, people just want to make a quick buck. It's a shame because there's an opportunity for them to educate themselves on a technology that will change the world! It would blow their minds! My dad has actually recently really gotten into learning a whole lot more about this space... I love it. It's totally refreshed his spirit :)

You're so nice for commenting on this post. For that, I gave you a vote!

That's so cool about your Dad, three thumbs up to anyone in the "parent age range" who is revitalized by blockchain! It feels like one of many persistent sunbeams in this crazy political climate.

Also, a shameless and maybe tacky request - would you mind reading my second post about lessons I've learned so far, titled "from skeptic to cheerleader" ? I am trying to reach out to blockchain wizards such as yourself to help me understand the dense bigger picture of STEEM, and would really appreciate your feedback on my post while I still have time to edit. The permanence of the blockchain is still something I'm trying to get used to as a newbie :) Thanks for your time.
