This is great for salt. I recently saw some of the Salt team speak at a blockchain conference. They are the real deal, and I had to invest in a few coins. With this Bittrex news, I'll probably pick up some more!

I think for lending on the blockchain, Salt has first mover advantage. They are not a scam, and they are investing serious resources into developing this business, so any future competition will have to play catch up
