How Marketing can turn Steemit into the most popular networking platform of all time

Hi fellow Steemians,

Steemit is in my opinion, the most exciting social networking platform available right now and if you're reading this, I'm sure you agree. It's the perfect compliment to the Steem blockchain which makes earning cryptocurrency more exciting than ever to those who have already come across it - but how can we make this the most popular social networking platform of all time and turn Steem into the next BIG cryptocurrency?

I believe the answer lies in marketing.

With successful marketing campaigns, Steemit users could attract the brands and celebrities who make their living via social networking platforms by creating awareness about Steemit and the Steem blockchain in general. These brands/celebrities have a powerful influence and would then attract their followers after realizing the potential benefits of switching to Steemit. This would result in an influx of new Steemians which would be great for us all. After all, more users also means more views, upvotes and comments on our own posts in additional to having a bigger network overall and as the popularity grows, so will Steems market value.

So how can we market Steemit appropriately?

I believe that every bit of marketing helps. Tell your friends. Tell your family. Tell everyone that Steemit is the way to go until it becomes a household name! Most people have never even heard about the revolutionary concept of Steem so its understandable that they haven't heard about Steemit either but once they do, chances are they'll jump right in. They'd be silly not to!
