Yesterday, several Monero community members participated in the 66th 96boards OpenHours discusson. This discussion featured long-time Monero and Kovri community members hyc, fluffypony, anonimal, and samsunggalaxyplayer.
Kovri is an initiative by the Monero community to hide the transaction broadcast in I2P. I2P is a decentraized, anonymous layer of the internet similar (yet also very different!) to Tor. Kovri is a lightweight I2P router written in C++ to be compatible with Monero and other cryptocurrencies. This router will increase the privacy of transactions and protect the security of nodes.
The discussion carried on for a little over an hour. You can watch all of it below; it is certainly worth a listen!
