A Year Ago I Didn't Own a Safe - Now I Use it More than I Ever Imagined

So, the wife (boss) and I are walking down an aisle in Costco, as we always do. We're there every couple of weeks, and know we're not leaving the store without dropping $400. #budget???

And we walk by a couple of safes at the end of the aisle. Fireproof. Waterproof. Idiotproof. And, more importantly...on sale.

So, we bought one. And it sat in its box in the basement for a few weeks before deciding what to do with it. Not an uncommon occurrence for shit I buy at Costco.

So, I put it upstairs in my office, in a little corner. Set a code. And start jamming shit in there. Passports. Banking info. Reserve cash. Reserve US cash. Wills. Life Insurance documents. And, honestly, sitting in Costco deciding whether or not to buy it, we were trying to figure out what we would put in there, and we struggled to get past passports.

But it was on sale.

So, I'm making full use of it now. And now, my cryto wallet info. The shit I can't memorize is now printed on paper an in my safe. (Look, if you manage to steal my safe and/or get into it, my portfolio of blockchain is the least of my worries.)

Never in a million years would I have imagined me putting paper in a safe regarding digital currency.

Anyway...go pick one up...and you don't even have to wait for them to go on sale.
