Coinbase is one of my favorite services for selling Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin for EURO’s. Because they only charge 0.15 EUR for transferring the EURO to your bank account, and on business days I usually receive the funds the next day already.
Today, at 6 PM (CEST) I did transfer some of my Ethereum from one of my wallets to my coinbase address because I did want to sell some ETH for EURO, because of the massive price increase of Ether the past few days, and I would like to make some real profit (instead of the virtual one).
After I did the transfer, I tried to log in at coinbase, but it seems it’s unavailable at the moment. On the site where you can check the status it states that there is an issue, but it has been identified and they are implementing a fix! (You could check the status on https://status.coinbase.com/ )
It seems that even the big and trustworthy players on the crypto market have some issues from time to time, and that they could be down for maintenance aswell.
I trust coinbase, and I am sure that my ETH will arrive in my Coinbase-ETH-wallet, but unfortunately I have no access to my coins at this moment, and the price of ETH is slightly going down again… ugh…
I guess I’ll change my strategy and just HODL my ETH after all…

I have a lot of concerns with Coinbase, but I heard that there were a lot of people having problems logging in from their mobile app as well. Did you get everything resolved?

It is the first time i have this kind of troubles with Coinbase, that is the main reason why I did not go and check or coinbase was working before sending the funds... But again, you learn every day, and it's logical that even they have some troubles from time to time...

Update: Coinbase is working again and my ETH is in the coinbase wallet like I expected it to be. Besides that, the value of ETH has gone slightly up again, it is almost at the exact price as on the moment I did wanted to sell it earlier on today!

Coin Base sucks. They charge 1.5% for every USD transaction. Buying and selling. They also have 6 day wait times to buy even when you have money in their USD wallets, so its impossible for short term trades. And now they are constantly unavailable.
