Introduction to Blockchain for Those Who Were Interested.

What is Blockchain Tech and Why does it have value.

It was a request from me and I made due. Crypto has a nasty reputation with most of the world
simply because the majority interested don't understand its value. So here I explained the terminology
and reasons that give unique crypto its incredibly rocky value. Many people are stuck in one mode and
don't understand why crypto has value. They don't understand what gives each unique crypto importance, they only know what the media says about it.

So... Like another seminar, I did a few months ago, I broke blockchain down to its basic purpose of being able to keep an unalterable log of everything that happens on it. A ledger of transactions kept in complete detail.

I chose to use the word ‘Blockchain’ over the word ‘cryptocurrency’ because crypto has gained a negative connotation with those not already in the sphere.

Choose your words wisely. For example, I cannot teach people about decentralized and use Steemit as an example. Steemit has never and will never be Decentralized and that’s OK, it needs order. That doesn’t mean Steemit isn’t valuable. Steemit is priceless to some people and with good reason.

I was told "Come, talk about BTC and explain the terminology. So I did. I don't claim to be a "know it all" but I am quite aware of its value as someone who made a lot without putting any cash in, I just gave my time and effort which is one of the greatest things about Steemit to the Crypto world.

I got hot in the unairconditioned room with 6 fans blowing up a small hurricane and almost twenty
people truly interested in learning about the new tech. Even at 7 pm, I was melting like ice cream ice on a paved road.

This was about teaching the Lingo and Terminology and the basic facts of crypto without delving into PnD scams. It was about teaching folks about why crypto has value. This was about life and why people need to trust crypto but need to do serious research before selling their house to simply lose their life.

It was a good English Corner; that took me by surprise. Smart and ready with avid ears. I even used Steemit as an example. I explained why so many Alt-Coins have value. Steemit is truly a good example on many levels. I told them how Blockchain tech keeps track of all transactions and is (unlike Steemit) decentralized. Which is good, it needs order and besides Steemit is priceless in so many other ways to so many people.

Anyways, I just wanted to explain the difference between centralized and decentralized.

To be honest, Steemit has changed lives. It took hobos and made them royalty. It took my broke ass and made me some financial freedom, but not just because Steemit is so great but I was able to trade my SBD into something more.

Lol! I can see you're indeed super hot melting, seems the 6 fans had given up their hurricane powers 😅
Glad to see you had another seminar about blockchain. I'm not really savvy about this quite complex type of technology but I understand cryptos like Bitcoin are given as a reward token to every completed task added in the blockchain and records are kept in an open distributed ledger (that works like a read only file that you open in a large computer network), no one can alter it. It's decentralized because no one controls the blockchain and it runs in a wide computer network. I agree, never invest in cryptos what you cannot afford to lose. When you trade you invest time and money but it's not always 100% you get the profit you want right away, either you get double returns or you lose it all and start all over again. It takes hard work, patience and a little more luck too.
Among all your audience, I like that kid in blue shirt, he seems really paying attention to what you're sharing. We never know he'll be the next well-known successful crypto trader or investor in the future. =)

YEa, maybe that kid will learn something and be the next big whale. His mom must have made him go, i'm sure he'd be happier anywhere else. I hope they get the AC fixed before my next time there, it was torture, I'm surprised anyone came and stated the 1.5 hours.

Ueah it changed not just lives it changed world

You have a couple of nice slides there.
