From about 34ct IOTA took a huge rise to values of more than 90ct just a few days ago and just seems to wait for its time to cross the magic line of $1. In my opinion we´ll see that happen within 2017 already even with the latest correction of more than 15%.
The coin regularly initiated heated discussions as it´s different from others and doesn´t really fit into the classic decentralized Blockchain concept all the Bitcoin fans are mostly insisting on. Despite all that there is some potential hidden in it and somehow I feel that we´ll get to see more of it in 2018.
That all being said, I´m putting some more money into IOTA at the very moment as I think that 77ct are a bargain compared to the values we´ll rise to in future. We don´t know what´ll happen but I´m positive that IOTA will have a great future 😊
What´s your opinion on IOTA?

Meant to buy some IOTA yesterday and didn't get around to it, guess I'm lucky as the price fell almost 15%. Going to make my first buy tonight :)
I think IOTA is super risky / untested, but the tangle concept is unique and it definitely has potential.
Also wish IOTA was on bittrex and had a better wallet.

I think Iota has a lot of potential. Trying to buy as we speak, but it's not easy to figure out what the safest place is to store Iota. Lots of bad reviews about the wallet. Any tips? Maybe a paper wallet?

I went for it and downloaded the wallet. Bought some IOTA through Binance. Now it is stuck there. there seems to be a problem with the connection with the wallet :-(

The problem most blockchain cryptos face is scaling. Iota fixes
that with replacing Blockchain with tech called the "Tangle" that can handle unlimited amount of TX/s. The tangle is still in beta phase, which is why the marketcap is only around 2bill and not 100Bill, in my opinion that is a high market cap for a crypto still in beta phase and that shows huge strength for the coin considering it has the WORST user-friendly interface and noob friendly crypto out of the whole scene. There are only currently 3 exchanges that deal with IOTA two of which recently just added it(Bitfinex,Binance and OkEx) which means once it gets added to Bittrex it's going to go nuts and their is signs of that happening soon(Devs announcing a huge announcement soon and bittrex following iota on twitter.)
The cons of this seemingly amazing cryptocurrency is that as it is currently still in beta phase the devs have something called the "Coordinator" in place which gives slight centralization to the developers but enabling the coordinator when you run a full node is optional so this will slowly go away as the project grows stronger, making it Decentralized. The official wallet is complete ASS, one of the worst if not the worst user/noob friendly wallet, but a brand spanking new beautiful wallet is being released within a month.
