In this post I would like to give you some information about Factom.

WHAT IS FACTOM ?

Factom Inc. is a company that builds blockchain software. Factom technology secures data for private and public organizations by publishing encrypted data or a cryptographically unique fingerprint of the data to Factom’s immutable, distributed Blockchain.

The Factom Blockchain is an open source project. It was build to secure data and systems. Often it is described as a publishing and auditing engine. It allows users to write data to its ledger for a small fee. Once information has entered into the Factom Blockchain it can’t be removed .

Factom is using the technology behind bitcoin to change how businesses manage data and keep records. Factom has partnered with Microsoft to have its technology incorporated with the Azure cloud platform so that developers can easily make use of the technology. Factom has also demonstrated proof of concept by adding all the books from Project Gutenberg into the blockchain.

Thanks to the great technology and the large software partners, Factom has great potential to grow even further.
