Many people don't know about bitcoin till now though they are educated and well-informed. The first time I heard about the bitcoin was nearly in February 2017 when I was watching a film about hackers. I thought that the bitcoin is a currency that only the hackers use. I asked my friend who was a computer expert about it and he didn't know it. Then, by coincidence I found a film on Youtube about the bitcoin and I found it easy to make a wallet and earn some satoshis from different sites. Gradually, I started to learn about the other currencies, investment, mining and some useful sites. I quickly realized that it is a cryptocurrency that is useful to buy many things online and invest it, and it is being abused by hackers and criminals. It is a very wide field and I am still discovering new things every day. How did you know about it?

I learned about bitcoin originally from listening to Free Talk Live, a radio program in USA that is freedom oriented. This was back in early summer of 2014 shortly after the first price correction vs USD. My feeling was positive toward bitcoin and it was exciting to learn about but I didn't want to risk any of my own limited funds preferring to take a wait and see approach. At the time I believed it was highly likely that the governments and powers that be of the world would find some way to shut bitcoin down.

Since then I had awareness of bitcoin and would check out articles that popped up here and there but it wasn't until this year's price spikes that I decided learn what crypto currency is all about. It has felt like going down a rabbit hole at times, there are a lot of exciting crypto projects going on. I plan on continuing to learn and get involved in this space as much as possible
