As we all can see, the cryptocurrency market has hit another downward trend, dropping bitcoin below 10k, This all stemmed from the fact Bitcoin is obviously going through another correction, especially with it meeting a tremendous amount of resistance at the 12k mark. Not able to push past 12k, Bitcoin dropped like a bird with a broken wing the past couple of days. As it surges downwards, the rest of the cryptocurrency market does as well, in the same steps of the grandfather coin. With these coins falling in price is Steem.

HERE IS A LOOK AT THE 1HR CHART ON STEEM OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS....

As you can see, Steem took a hard hit over the past 20 hours, dropping from well over the early $3 range down to the $2.60 area. This drop in value left room for many Steemit users and investors to go ahead and buy in at a reduced rate, either trading for short term gain when Steem roubounds over $4 in the next week OR invest by holding or dumping into your Steemit account. Either way, now is a beautiful time to buy Steem!

LET'S TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT THE CHART AND FOCUS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF STEEM OVER THE PAST DAY

So why is Steem a great crypto to invest in? How about the fact that it is the lifeblood of what will be the world's largest and most efficient social media outlet, Steemit. Or how about the fact that it is one of the fastest currencies in existence. A lot of Steemit users do not know that little tid bit right there. Here's an even better one. Steem has no mandatory fee's associated with it. Whenever you are charged a fee (like withdrawing Steem from Binance) you are being charged by the third party. Just these three facts here should make Steem one of your number one coins to invest in.

Aside from the facts stated above, it is foreseen that Steem will have a brilliant future. With estimates of it hitting well past $100 USD in value per 1 STEEM, how can anyone ignore this crypto? Personally, after reading charts and comparing from previous trends, I see STEEM going past $50USD per 1 STEEM but not quite as high as some predict. Either way at it's current value of less than $3USD it is a sound investment to make, even if I'm wrong and it only hits $10USD tops. Let's not forget, STEEM is the ticket to building your account on the Steemit platform. Buying in cheap and investing into SP is a sure shot way to grow exponentially on the platform.

THE REASON I'M WRITING THIS IS TO ADVISE EVERYONE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE LOW PRICE OF STEEM AND BUY IN NOW BEFORE THE MARKET REBOUNDS. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THIS IS THE FINAL CORRECTION BITCOIN WILL SEE, PUSHING IT WELL BEYOND 12K AND BRINGING THE MARKET ALONG WITH IT, INCLUDING STEEM.

The proof is in the puddin' ladies and gents. Steem is on the drop and NOW is the best opportunity to strike while the iron is hot. This is profitable either way you choose to look at it. Whether it drops another ten cents or stays even now, it WILL blow up and once Steem gets the mainstream attention it deserves, forget the moon, Steem is going to Mars! Whether using it to build your portfolio or build your Steemit account, investing in the Steem blockchain by buying Steem is going to be one of the best choices you have made!         Well it has dropped to 9,790.00 right now, I read it was because of SEC regulation announcements so I don't think this will see a turn upwards this week, and it will stay down at least until they sort out what the SEC really wants. This is the problem with crypto any move by any good sized government or especially a super sized one like the US has incredible effects on its price.

          That is a very interesting point. Though BTC isn't moving much over the next week, I'm almost confident Steem will see a burst.

          It's insane how much impact WG has on crypto. When Korea started raids and rumors went around that China was banning crypto....the market plummeted. It's still recovering today actually....over the actions of WG. I think this has the possibility of rebounding sooner than we think, but the relies on the community around BTC to fix.

            Totally agree, I put $300ish into Steem at its current price. It's at a support level right now, but if it breaks through I could see it dropping another 30% or so, if not more! I believe long term Steem will rebound though :) So yes, definitely a good investment as long as you're not afraid to hold it. I converted my Steem into Steem Power, as I understand it that's a good thing to do haha. So new here XD

              Hi @satoris it is a pleasure to have you here on this post! Yes, you are indeed right, it is a fantastic time to buy in. Actually, Steem dropped more from the time I released this post, just around where I figured it would drop to, making it the best time to grab Steem. I have bought about $600 in Steem and am sitting on it at my Binance account. It's definitely on the rise in a soon as the market cools off!

              I thought about converting it to SP, though I think I'm going to convert half and keep half untouched. I wouldn't mind dumping it all into SP if the withdraw period wasnt split in a 3 month payout period. But, such is life. All I know is this is a great time to buy and my fellow Steemians should be all on this!

                    Hey there@terminallyill, just before you gave the advice, I was doing it. Good timing I guess. I believe in the platform, even though I may find faults with certain things. Those faults have led me in a new direction, though, and one that I will finish sorting out and come back to you with, to get your opinion on very soon. I find the issues with Steemit are something the community and users are left able to fix by creating Dapps and things of that nature. That is just my two cents on it. Despite some of the flaws, I find this platform to be very promising.
