How to buy & send cryptocurrencies over to other wallets and exchanges

1. get a Coinbase account ( keep mind for taxes purposes they will ask for your social security number as well as a photo ID to verify you are who you say you are. )
   As of January 2018, this is the easiest way to exchange money from your bank or debit card into cryptocurrencies. Other Cryptocurrency exchanges don't take Debit or credit only Crypto

2 Next click on one of the wallet you desire to put money into or click on the blue buy button on the bottom middle of the screen. (I recommend ETH if you want to trade it has lower fees than bitcoin)

(Important note) Please set-up debit card if you have the option this will let you buy instantly otherwise if you pay via bank routing number this can take up to 7 days. Coinbase will send two small withdrawals (cents)to the bank that is linked to the debit card. Just verify the numbers

Now you are ready to buy some cryptocurrencies once you select the desired amount to buy the next page will confirm your purchase. Coinbase will charge a fee depending on how much you buy. There are ways around this by logging into a GDEX account I can address that in detail in a future post.

Now send the ETH over to another exchange where you can buy other cryptos or send to a personal wallet for safe keeping.

Click on the paper plane on right- hand corner that will always send money out from your Coinbase to another account which is called a wallet deposit address (please note make sure to send to the correct address if send to the wrong address your money would be lost forever. I recommend to always do a test by sending a small amount to the address to verify you have the correct address

Please don't send to this address you have your own unique deposit address. unless you like giving me money lol

you have two options to send the ETH you can copy Deposit address from Binance for example and paste to the Coinbase app. I recommend using the QR code by clicking the little square on the right- hand side. this will open your camera app it will very quickly read the code. this is the safest way to avoid human error.

To send money from Binance you will need to click on this square up here. this is your withdrawal address you will always send ETH from elsewhere going into your Coinbase account this is where you receive funds.
