Anchor was one of the highlights at The North American Bitcoin Conference (TNABC 2019), also known as BTC Miami. With a novel and unique solution for a true stablecoin, Anchor drew attention from the investor crowd and media alike.
As always, BTC Miami offered ways to solve crypto problems that have accumulated since the creation of the first cryptocurrency. The Anchor team enjoyed talking to crypto enthusiasts, investors and regulators, debating about the future of the crypto industry and discussing Anchor as novel and promising solution to its current challenges.
Anchor's VP of Foreign Relations, Andrew Sarega, was a keynote speaker at the event. During his presentation, he outlined the hybrid coin-token model of the Anchor System and its unique pegging mechanism to the Monetary Measurement Unit (MMU), as well as how Anchor will preserve and enhance value for all coin holders in the system.
Andrew also explained how Anchor will deepen trust in the Anchor System through safe investments, such as purchase of sovereign debt, and an elaborate governance model featuring system validators and a variety of stakeholders that will create a stable and active community around the project.
As the Anchor becomes widely adopted, we plan to extend the Anchor platform and offer it to other cryptocurrency startups as an ICO enabler and the most predictable value peg on the market, against which they can launch more trustworthy and transparent ICOs.
