This is huge.
The Canadian Securities Exchange has announced that they are moving ahead with blockchain clearing house.
Think of CDS which clears and settles Canadian securities, and the DTC which clears and settles US equities, well now you add a clearing house which clears and settles crypto currency or tokens.
This is massive news. Why?

Because it legitimizes cryptocurrency!
It means that they are here to stay. It also means that regulation will inevitably around the corner. Without proper regulation and oversight a proper clearing function, as it currently exists with the CDS and DTC will not exist.
I hope it goes without saying that this clearing exchange will be built on blockchain technology. For the naysayers out there that believe the crypto will fall to $0, I believe this proves the opposite. This proves, it’s here to stay.
