Ripple Coinbase Conspiracy

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

I'm pretty sure there is some major insider trading going on right now, and that some people already know Ripple is being added to Coinbase, hence the pump... what say you?

I mean, doesn't it seem a bit odd that it would pump so high, so fast, off of some mediocre adoption news?

My conspiracy still stands, and I think the addition to the Coinbase fleet of offerings has already been baked in, and that the bots are already staged to dump this thing once the actual announcement is released.

Then, once it reaches its max value, it will get dumped like no token has ever been dumped before.

Your thoughts on this conspiracy of mine, my fellow Steemit user?

The potential listing of Ripple in coinbase is getting baked in to this current price imo. Not sure about the conspiracy but people talk in meetings and parties and happy hours, so it's very possible for 2 San Fran based companies to collude even unintentionally. But what I know is that the difference between Ripple & other cryptocurrencies such as cryptos based on DPoS protocol is that in Ripple, ONLY institutions can become a "validator" (processor of transactions). Every server processes every transaction according to the same deterministic, known rules. While, for example, in cryptos such as Bitshares (BTS) network ANYONE can become a validator ("witness"). The stakeholders (i.e. BTS holders) can elect any number of witnesses to generate blocks. Each account is allowed one vote per share per witness. The top N witnesses by total approval are selected. The number (N) of witnesses is defined such that at least 50% of voting stakeholders believe there is sufficient decentralization. If a witness fails to produce a block, then they are not paid, and may be voted out in the future.

which one is better?

Not in my opinion, and I was never a believer in Ripple, and even if it does succeed, I'll never be mad that I missed the boat either.

that's exactly how I feel about Ripple!

Could be possible, that's why we need to allow it to cool off before investing. I will enter only below 0.7$.
