Walstreet's interest in crypto currency (block chain technology)

Indeed block chain has become extremely popular lately, but how badly are people interested in it??
Aside from all the previous Bitcoin and crypto related stocks that have increased hundreds of % over the last months ($RIOT , $GBTC , $BTSC , $MARA ,$MGTI) and many others , there were some that were particularly interesting last week, those being : $NXTD and $NETE , $LFIN and $LTEA.

1. NXTD : After announcing crypto related news ( that it will be working to create a platform that connects cryptocurrency to the payment acosystem) , the stock rallied all the way from the high 1s on the 19th of December to a high of $8.5 on the 21st of December.

2. NETE: shares of $NETE rocketed more than 500% from around $5.3 on the 19th of December to a high of $33 on the 21st of December on the announcement that it is entering the blockchain fray.

3. LFIN: After announcing the acquisition ziddu.com ( a blockchain company ) the stock jumped from around $5.5 on Friday the 14th to a high of around $142 on Monday the 18th ( the next trading session). That's over a 1000% increase because of hype !!

4. LTEA: This tea producing company is the most interesting of them all ! After announcing that it'll rename itself "long blockchain Corp" mentioning that it will shift it's primary focus to blockchain technology , it soared over 400% from around $2.5 to a high of around $9.4 .

All these are examples of the current hype and interest in block chain and cryptocurrencies. Is block chain going mainstream? what will happen if a Bitcoin ETF launches ?
