I think the speculation of Ripple on Coinbase is a huge factor in this price increase.

    There have been a lot of images supposedly being leaks for Ripple on coinbase but ripple doesn't really seem to fit the GDAX standards that were put out all that well compared to some other contenders so who knows if it will happen.
