Like many, I am looking for that perfect cryptocurrency exchange that does everything I need it to do without paying out too much in fee's. A newer exchange (to crypto) that is starting to gain STEEM is Uphold
Below is a list of the pro's and con's to using this exchange.....
Pro's:

- FREE to fund your account when you link your bank account (3.99% fee if you use a credit/debit card)
- FREE to send money from one member to another
- Withdraw funds via crypto is a flat $2.99 and $3.99 via bank transfer
- Minimal fee to transfer cryptos to an outside wallet
- Easy to navigate exchange
- The exchange keeps a 1:1 reserve to ensure that all funds held by the exchange are insured (only exchange doing this)
- Ability to purchase precious metals
- Uphold is regulated by the United States Treasury Department
- Currently holds the most popular cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, BAT, BCH, DASH, BTG
Con's:
- Limited cryptocurrency options to invest in
As you can see above, if you are buying the major crypto currencies Uphold offers a variety of benefits that the other exchanges do not offer. If you are buying Ripple (XRP), right now is a good time to buy as they are offering $0 fee's to purchase XRP. Unlike other exchanges, Uphold 100% backs your investments on deposit with a reserve. I have blown so much cash on Coinbase with their extremely high fee's, Uphold is by far and away a better exchange!
