Ripple wallet

Hi there
I have a question.
I bought the Ledger nano s wallet and its on its way, which is awsomenes to the awsome, but I cant seem to figure out if this wallet also "eats" 20 ripple like stated almost everywhere for other wallets??
And by the way why does the wallets burn 20 ripple, if anyone knows?
