We have here a new promising ICO which is the best candidate to be the (decentralized) bank of the future. Here I will do the ICO in a similar style as I’ve been doing lately.
Introduction
They started as a payment tool in 2015, which is a good thing in the way the company has already created something. They have also proven to do a great teamwork which in lots of ICOS and token sales nowadays is difficult to find, having worked together before increases the probably of succeed.
In a few words, they are trying to create the “new” bank, I write new with asterisks because they say, and I also think, that the concept of banks will be different from what be now. This new concept of a bank, a decentralized bank and the bank of the future will be a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organisation) which means the token holders of the coin will take the decisions of the company.
And how I found them? I have a friend who attended one of their meetings and talked about the project.

TOKEN SALE GENERAL INFORMATION
40 % of tokens (20.000 ETH) will be sold in the ICO.
In this case, independently of the number of people that have joined the whitelist, it’s mandatory to join it even though you want to participate in the public crowd sale and not the pre-sale.
The presale will be open from the 8th of January until the 15th with a bonus of 35% but the “inconvenient” a minimum cap of 15 ETH ($ at the time of writing this).
The main sale will begin on the 15th. With a minimum investment of 0.5 ETH and the following bonus (copied from the whitepaper):
-During the first 24 hours, 20% bonus tokens.
- During the first week, 15% bonus tokens.
- During the second week, 10% bonus tokens.
So even though not having 12ETH for the pre-sale you can still have a 20% bonus, which is a good incentive too.
Token sale personal valuation
Selling only 40% of tokens in the ICO is not the best option, from my point of view to create a community, which in this project is one of the 3 main priorities.
Also related to the creation of a great community, having a presale with 15 ETH min cap is too much. I know it is useful for the really important partnerships and developers but that could be done in a private sale or pre-presale.
The early adopter user
From my point of view the early adopter will use PayPro for the following reasons:
-Will be one of the best DAOs in the market
- The possibility to sell and show Dapps in their marketplace
- Take a general idea of how banks could evolve
How will the average user use it?
As I said before the success of PayPro is all about developers, so what we could expect is the average internet user to join after a few years. The possibilities are unimaginable but if the project is successful I have the strong belief that it would have little resemblance to a bank, even to most innovative ones nowadays, but we will have something really useful for all the internet users.
Quality of webpage, whitepaper and Social Media comments.
-The webpage is simple (in a good way) but I miss some possible Dapps examples in it.
-White paper is correctly written and in a few languages.
- Social media: they are active on Twitter and BitcoinTalk but only has a few videos on YouTube
Social Media Stats
-Telegram users: 244.
-Twitter followers: 1768.
-YouTube: 24 subscribers and 4 videos.
-Facebook followers: 1559.
-Medium followers: 40.
Final conclusions and thoughts
The success of the project is based on 2 things:
1- The marketing abilities of the team, which is not easy but it’s feasible.
2- The developers publishing good content into the platform, for me this is the most difficult thing to achieve because we have the problem of not having enough blockchain programmers and the risk of one company such as Google or Apple extending their actual app stores for Dapps or creating a Dapp's store.
But they have in their favor the 8th biggest telecom company in the world: Telefonica.
From the investment point of view, it could be good in the long term (more than 2 years), and for the short term I don’t see it as a pump and dump token but it has not created a big hype in the crypto community yet, so it’s difficult to predict.
