My First Post - Why 2018 Will Be My Best Year!

Who am I? Well I’m 20 years old. I worked for Endeavor Air (a subsidiary of Delta Airlines) as an Aircraft Technician. I got my licenses to work on Aircraft back in 2015-16. I grew up in Queens NYC. I like New York City, sort of... Let’s fast forward a bit :) I moved to New Jersey in Late 2014, Do I regret it? No. It felt like I get a fresh start. I was still going to high school in NYC until the rest of the school year. What a commute that was... haha. 3 hours of traveling everyday for 9 months. It’s not as bad as you think, just kidding. Well next thing you know.. my college is in NYC too even deeper and a longer travel.. 4 hours daily now. I switched to 2 days a week of classes to prevent myself from too much stress.

(I took this picture during the summer)

It was okay, I got my degree in Aircraft Maintenance. My mom wanted me to continue going to college. I didn’t transfer out of this one yet because I didn’t know what I want to do with my life. I started a new major in Electronic Engineering with minor in Avionics. During my second semester, I had an interview with Endeavor Air. I got interviewed first by the manager that was there in December, I had already scheduled my classes for the spring semester. He mentioned that there are a lot of positions available for the night shift. The interview went well, I had waited patiently. In one month, I get called for an interview with the new manager. Interview went alright I can say. I got the job, but little did I know that everybody that begins is morning shift.

The usual schedule is 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. This manager made a new rule or whatever you may call it, every new guy comes in Monday thru Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. Guess what, I had started working. Flunked my classes because I couldn’t show up. I lost 8500$, college costs 12,000$ a semester. Yeah 12,000$ aka 1 bitcoin now haha. I paid some of it, financial aid covered another portion, Parsons paid 2500$ and I took out a loan. Honestly throughout all my years I’ve learned that college is useless. Why should I do the same thing hundreds and thousands of people are doing... it's boring and yes, everybody tells you that you should go to college, this that and this and that. They have to stop with the bullshit. Let's be real not everybody can be a doctor, not everybody can be an engineer, not everybody can be an entrepreneur.

I define myself as an entrepreneur now. I've been learning @QuickFingersLuc 's method of trading cryptocurrencies. In this world people define you by how much you have in your wallet and not by who they are. There are people out there that are proud of their jobs. My fellow coworkers, they were very satisfied, I can tell by the look in their eyes. It's not like I didn't enjoy my job, I mean it was alright... pay was good for my age. But, deep down inside I wasn't completely satisfied. I traveled 5 hours round-trip, daily to work. By the time I got to work, I was burned out and overwhelmed. I was tired before I started working. My shift was Wednesday - Saturday, 8 PM to 6:30 AM. I liked the schedule, I really did. It was great. Nobody looking over your shoulder and etc. everything had been great. Until I heard the news of my grandfather passing away. I completely broke down like never before. That night I called the manager and asked him if I can get 2 weeks off. I used the 3 emergency days that he gave me and the rest were vacation days.

I traveled back to Ukraine for the funeral that night. During my time there, everything about me changed. My passions have become more clear. I enjoy watching prices of cryptocurrencies bouncing on the charts. It's thrilling. That's when I discovered QuickFingersLuc on Steemit/YouTube. The way he explains everything is just amazing. He's my inspiration to trading. He breaks every little thing down. I will dedicate my Steemit blog to post daily & quality content. I will post my opinion on certain cryptocurrencies and what I'm trading. My goal is financial freedom and to help/inspire others.

Thanks for reading :)

I too have been grinding college, but not traveling and grinding as hard as you have been. This is my last semester and i'm extremely happy about it.

However...2017 has changed my life. My eyes are wide open now. I realize that the most successful people in the world aren't people who went to college and did what the others are doing. Don't get me wrong, education is very important.

The work has just begun, the difference now is that we are grinding FOR OURSELVES and not to line someone else's pocket(the universities/your boss). I'm going to make 2018 the best year of my life yet.

Yes, college is just a path. I started a degree in a cheaper college. It was the right thing to do, why pay 12,000$ when you can get the same thing for 3000$ or less. Thanks for being the first person to comment! I appreciate it!

No problem man! Good luck and keep posting.

I will look right now and I will give you my honest opinion!
