About a week ago I wrote a post about mining with Minergate. I had a pc collecting dust and I was bored so I just set it up to mine and have another thing going to keep myself busy.

To make a long story short: with my hardware it's not going to make me rich anytime soon. But I knew that before I even began. There's something about the counters rising and rising that's fun to see though.

The Minergate software automatically selects the best coin(s) to mine. With my hardware its mining Monero and FantomCoin. At the moment I got the following hardware mining for me:

  • pc with an AMD A6-5600 CPU
  • MacBook Air 2014
  • laptop with an Intel i7 CPU
  • a windows 2016 server in the Azure cloud :)

Total mined as follows:

According to my buddies at Cryptocompare it translates to the following at this point in time:

Did I already say it's not going to make me rich anytime soon? :)

What can be a game changer is if many people start to mine after signing up with your affiliate link. If you get enough people to sign up and mine you will actually earn a percentage of what they mined.

So if you're feeling bored and have some CPU power to spare it would be awesome if you would click on the link below! ;)

Are there other mining programs to join which can get you more money? I'm sure there are, but none of them are as easy to setup as Minergate. Create an account, download the software, install it and click on Start Mining. That's it, the software will automatically mine what's best for your hardware.

Happy mining!

I'd like to bet for 5SBD that you earn more with this post in 1 hour, than with that 1 week of mining ;-)

Lol

Perhaps so. But every little bit in this crypto space counts mate!

Its doable, and also easy as well!

From what I've seen it's the easiest program out there

Hello, I might be interested in Minergate but kindly tell me.... Did you get your coin credited to your wallet? And how long did it take?

If you wish to payout you have to wait until you reach a certain threshold. After that it’s simply a matter of waiting for the next block and enough confirmations.

FCN is never confirming in MinerGate.

You have to reach 1, then it will confirm. Every coin has a different confirmation amount.

Oh. Was that! I didn't know. I learnt that Bytecoin is only confirmed every 20 BCN -it was 10 BCN not long time before- but didn't know it for other cryptocurrencies in that mining pool.

Thank you!

You're welcome mate.

I know that Monero confirms at 0.05 so there are many differences.
