What about Jaxx and their iOS app?

Many cryptocurrency holders have chosen to manage their favorite cryptos with Jaxx.

Jaxx is a pretty decent and easy to use multi wallet app that syncs across devices. It enables us to manage several different cryptos within one app. It also includes Shapeshift functionality that allows you to well... shapeshift an amount of X into Y. All very handy.

For me there's only one issue though... their iOS version is way outdated and as an Apple user that bothers me. Jaxx on Android is their latest up to date version, offering fixes and some other under the hood stuff but more importantly, more cryptos are supported. I believe Jaxx once said that the iOS version is several months behind and that Apple was holding their app back, not explaining why. Every now and then I've asked Jaxx for an update but got the same answer every time.

In this post of mine:

I wrote that there are some cryptos that I will move to my Ledger Nano S. I still haven't reveived it though, see:

But I'm still hoping to be able to move all other cryptos to preferably Jaxx. I really don't want to use several different wallets...

Yesterday Jaxx posted the following on Twitter:

So I thought, why not ask them again if they know something more about their pending IOS update and they responded quickly:

So after months of waiting finally we have some great Jaxx & iOS news! Apparently the app has been approved by the App Store review team and the app needs one more approval.

Let's hope the Apple App Review Board approves!

I use JAXX. too. Just for small amounts of different coins, because it is not as secure as other solutions. It's good to hear that there will be a new iOS-Version.

Yes, what about security exactly? I hear a lot of people say that security is bad because it doesn't require a password or something like that... but the ap can be secured with a PIN code. And the rest of the security measures should be taken on your own device anyway. That's basically what Jaxx also says and why they havent implemented other measures into the app. My iPhone is secured with Touch ID and a 6 digit PIN code.

Jaxx is great along with coinomi for multiple cryptocurrency functionality. Also I ordered a trezor and it should arrive by August. Those wait list times are no joke.

The cryptocrrency world is exploding... indeed no joke concerning Trezor and Ledger.
Coinomi is only available on Android. I believe someone (was it you?) mentioned that Apple support will come soon... so perhaps I will make the switch to coinomi, will definately research it.
