Hello guys as I have mentioned yesterday, in this post : Announcing Weekly Cryptocurrency HODL!

This will be the beginning of my weekly series of Weekly Cryptocurrency HODL, where we will be creating a cryptocurrency portfolio using cryptocompare fantasy style. Fantasy style because each week we will have $100 to spend on cryptocurrencies just fantasy. In reality I do not have that much cash lol. What is the aim for this? It is to see if investing in cryptocurrency for the long term and holding it is profitable to do. So let us start now. I will try to justify my buys if I can.

First we will be using Cryptonator to get the coins that we are going to buy, it is a great tool to quickly calculate how much the coin is to other coins or to fiat currency.

Next we will then add the coins we calculated at Cryptocompare here is how it looks:

Seems easy right? Let us start then! lets buy some coins fantasy style

Spending Breakdown

Stratis(STRAT)

• With the upcoming masternodes, it will be great to buy some Stratis.

Komodo(KMD)

STEEM

• Steem is less than a dollar today, so it is a great buy

Bitquence(BQX)

• This one is for the future, I like the project and what they want to achieve

So $25 for each cryptocurrencies.

So here are our acquisitions this week

• 5.9666 STRAT at $4.13 each
• 13.9665 KMD at $1.78 each
• 26.2283 STEEM at $0.9532 each
• 30.885 BQX at $0.8095 each

Nice start +0.11 already, just kidding I will be doing the recap next week, let us see how it goes. I will be also adding a section called Top Gainers, and Biggest Losers to the list to see which cryptocurrencies are performing well, and losing a lot.
