Update 8/18
We are continuing to process withdrawals as fast as possible and apologize for any delays.
We want to reiterate that poswallet.com is not shutting down - we are asking users to withdraw coins as a preventative method while we patch up any security holes. In the short term we are excited about the following: Ledger wallets ship (Ledger has had a shortage from one of their suppliers for a month now, this now appears resolved), whitepaper for trustless operations wallet, patching security holes to get POSW group staking turned back on, as well as the PoSWallet 2.0 site upgrades (sneak peak of the dashboard here).

Update 8/17
We have identified several IPs that appear to be involved and will open a case. Total BTC equivalent lost from the hot wallets was 11.2 BTC after all wallets checked. All of the team members here have pooled personal coins to recoup as much of the losses as we can. If you would like to make a donation to the recoup fund, please send BTC to 1MNLR51z8nGR86DokPDq49QM2CbNuzEoxA - anything is appreciated.
Please withdraw all coins immediately. If you need your daily limit raised, please send an email to [email protected] with your username and request. Moving forward, the team here is going to focus on building new wallet technology for the POSW wallet. Marking coins for delisting now.
All term deposits have been refunded with interest.

We had a malicious intrusion into at least one wallet server in the past 12hrs. All withdrawals are pending manual review until we verify that the wallets are secure.
Initial wallet balance survey shows 9.3 BTC worth of coins have been stolen. We are already in contact with the authorities with respect to this and are providing all server information that we have.
We suggest withdrawing your coins - please understand there will be delay while we manually process withdrawals.
