Well before comparing it to gold, I'd still take into account BTC's market cap as any other cryptocurrency has yet to match it. So based on current data, if Ripple's market cap reached that of Bitcoin's, XRP price would be $5.08, 3.1 times higher than the current price http://matchcoins.info/?c1=bitcoin&c2=ripple btcxrp.PNG
