This post is about one of my favorite coins - Verge (XVG). This cryptocurrency is interesting because of a few reasons. Security and privacy are really important thing on this market. On the official website we can see short description: "Verge is a secure and anonymous cryptocurrency, built with a focus on privacy". And it's absolutely true. Developers of Verge did a great job to make this coin really private.
Another advantage of using Verge is transaction speed. This cryptocurrency is 20 times faster than Bitcoin, 4 times faster than Monero and 2 times faster than Pivx. Additionally, Verge can handle 100 transactions per seconds. As we see on the infographic below it's much faster compared to other coins.
Algorithm of Verge also prevents IP from being traced or recalled. Another plus is public blockchain, so Verge is easy for mainstream adoption. The great advantage of this coin are also anonymous mobile transactions.
Verge is a hit of this year. We have seen a huge growth of XVG in the first half of 2017. Price jumped from 1 satoshi (March 1) to 224 satoshi (June 7). It was 224x growth! Incredible. But I'm sure thanks to great technology Verge is worth much more. Now we can buy Verge on big promotion. Price for now is about 93 satoshi. I'm sure It's great opportunity and I already bougth more :)

Hi,
I sincerely want to share your enthousiasm but I’m still not convinced by XVG, I tell you why..
They claim to have a secure & anonymous currency (if not the best) & it may be true. However, It’s one of the oldest projects in this department which still has not meet a great trust or a huge interest.
About the value, there was a significant increase indeed, but start from scratch to 224 sats in 3 weeks particularly in a bullish market period means nothing for me.
Today, it’s half of this price, there is a solid support around 100 sats for some time now & a lot of good entry points so It’s obviously appealing.
Transfers over Telegram are in the roadmap, ok, but what else?

Nice post. Same mindset here. Buy and hold for the upcoming 3 years and the blockchain market will find it's way. We really need more insights in the market and previous investment results.
