Cryptocurrency review: COVAL (Circuits of Value)steemCreated with Sketch.

in cryptocurrency •  8 years ago

COVAL, a blockchain-based loyalty rewards program, launched July, 2016 and replaced RibbitRewards. Following a $1.5 million infusion of funding earlier this year from Deloitte and the government of Dubai, Ribbit.me rebranded itself as "Loyyal".

Here's the September update from lead COVAL and Loyyal developers Shannon Code and Michael Sullivan

In the 4th quarter, the developers expect to migrate the COVAL blockchain to Counterparty, a smart contract-enabled token that uses Bitcoin to secure transactions.

The developers are also working on a mobile wallet with a built-in voice app and publishing system using COVAL as the unit of exchange.

A new update is due out the first week of October.
