For most people I recommend long term investing since this costs the least time and effort, besides running a family and a fulltime job for example. If you are seriously interested in making a living out of crypto you will have to trade way more short term. This takes more time and effort to keep track, store and transact all of the cryptocurrencies in your total portfolio.
