If I'm correct then WePower is kind of same but instead of buying electricity directly it uses auction based selling. (not sure about it tho)
Also, producers donate 0.9% produced energy to WPR holders as long as I have looked into it.

But after all, both projects will generate profit - I'm pretty much sure because energy market is huge!
