Bought my first coin

in cryptocurrency •  7 years ago

good stuff bro, i remember when i bought my first crypto currencies i fot 100$ of bitcoin - it was about 0.08 BTC and than I went to poloniex and bought with the 100 $ some litecoin some ethereum and some steem => after one month my 0.08 bitcoin investment was - 180$ or so and then i have decided to invest much more.

I do remember the strange feeling of spending 100 dollars and asking myself WTF am I buying ? .I know better ways to spend 100$ and i was not sure that I was doing the right thing but few month later i was already convinced that cryptocurrencies and bitcoin is the future and I am grateful i have discovered it now (than..)

I felt and feel the same way you do. I pressed the "BUY" button. Looked at my bank account. And then thought, "Shit, I'm in for one hell of a ride." I'm excited to see where this trip takes me. If you have any nooby advice, I'm all ears!

I can give you the basics advises:

  1. don't keep your cryptos in an exchange - buy a cold storage wallet (I have a Ledger nano s but there are others) as they say if you dont own the privet key do dont actualy own the coins you think that you have.

  2. the coins i keep in my wallet are the ones i don't intend to sell in the short run :bitcoin litecoin monero dash my steem are in my steemit account

  3. i speculate with many other coins (buying up to 0.1 bitcoin) that as soon as i see 30% 40% gain or more - i sell but most of my money is in the coins above.

  4. don't invest money that you cannot afford to lose

good luck bro
:)
