The Cryptocurrency boom of 2017
2017 was definitely the year of the Blockchain , we witnessed the rise of Bitcoin and all Alts (Alctoins) for that matter. But what does that mean really? Blockchain technology has the power to affect all our lives, it can become an easy way to transfer money or become a safe way of storing wealth. So far it has provided an unprecedented way of multiplying your investment.
A very good investment
Bitcoin rose from 1000 USD to almost 20.000 USD in less than a year
If you have had invested any amount of money in early 2017 the chances are that you are now sitting in a sum order of magnitude larger than the original, so it’s a good way to make you money right? Well yes it can be however blockchain is something much more and it will make the world a better place because its principle is undeniably unbeatable, it is designed to connect people together without an intermediate.
Peer to Peer.
Sending money to each other without the use , or the fees, of a bank is a good thing to anyone who lives in a developed country plus removing the bank from any equation is almost always a good thing! What about the people who don’t live in a developed country or those who don’t have access to a stable currency like Venezuelans.
Connecting the unconnected
Crypto currency provides the way to bank the unbaked. Granting access to a financial system to people is always a good thing, having a way to store, sent and receive funds via a global network will improve their lives. Crypto is not yet a stable currency but is definitely 100 times better than inflator currencies like the Venezuelan Bolívar.
A new age begins
As 2018 will be soon here we will witness the dawn of the era of the Blochian, what will happen no one knows , after all a year ago Bitcoin was trading in under 1000 USD….
