Earning "Passive" Crypto - Storm, Electroneum, Manna

Hey all just wanted to give you a quick update on what I'm doing in the crypto world. It's really not much right now to be completely honest, but here it goes.

Storm has quite the hype right now. It has recently seen a 4x in BTC value and has dropped back down to 2x in value and seems to be holding for now. Storm is a token that can be rewarded for earning bolts on the app called storm play by completing microtransactions. Usually, by either signing up for a paid service trial (like Netflix or Uber) or playing a mobile game up to a certain level (usually in hopes that you'll keep playing and pay money). Honestly, it's probably not worth it, but if you're considering signing up for something like Hello Fresh, Nutrisystem, GameFly, etc. it's a way you can earn a few dollars worth of crypto for "free".

I've talked about this crypto before and think this is a really weak project. However, you can finally "mine" on your mobile phone. It's more of an "idle game" then it is a miner. The reason for this is that if it actually mined on your phone it would more than likely kill or melt your phone as most mining is super intensive. This miner just checks to see if you have the app running and then rewards some Electroneum based on your phones specs.

Warning - I'm not sure what this app does besides act as a wallet and mines you some Electroneum so DYOR (do your own research) to see if you feel comfortable downloading the "miner".

The miner doesn't seem to use many resources (so your battery life is relatively unaffected) and has used <0.01 GB of mobile data while running almost non-stop for the past 3 weeks or so. I've been earning about 10 Electroneum roughly every 1.5 days and earn around $2 a week in Electroneum at current prices. Not something that is going to get you rich overnight, but if the price pumps again it can be an ok way to gain some more BTC. With that said even at its current price I think Electroneum is extremely overpriced and overhyped, but crypto markets behave irrationally so DYOR.

I've earned 122 Manna, but can't do anything with it as you can't currently send or receive any from the wallet they distribute your Manna too (which isn't a big deal as it's only worth about a dollar). It will be interesting to see what happens to the price when they allow people to withdraw and sell what they've been given.
