I first heard about CriptoKittens a couple of days after the craze started.
I am not into crazes, but I am curious about new games and models and especially being a first over the Ethereum platform, so I decided to buy a couple of cats to see how it worked.
The first problem was to buy the cats. The transactions kept coming back with insuficient funds even though I had enough funds and even increased the gas price and amount.
Apparently the number of transactions was bogging down the whole thing.
After some insistance I finally bought two creatures for almost 60 USD!
I decided to mate them as soon as possible.
Again I had problems to validate the mating transaction that costed some more USD…
Finally! Successul mating!
After some wait (1 day) Kitten was born!
I named her StripeBeauty, she is so cute 😊
Well, I was explaining my son the economics of buying, breeding and selling cats and put StripeBeauty for sale to exemplify, and she was sold before I knew!
Well Stripe Beauty was sold for some 20 USD… I think I sold her cheap…
I feel like if l sold a real pet… a bit guilty…
While “StarryKitty” was still recovering from giving birth to “StripeBeauty” I mated “Slow Tongue Virgin” with another cat that was brisk (meaning that it recovers from mating much quicker than mine), in the hope the sibling would be a faster breather… and she got pregnant, that cost me some 33 USD!
Well a nice kitten was born that I called “CoolDogLover”:
It breeds a little faster than his mother…
Still have no idea why some Kittens are at a higher price than others, but I guess no one knows…
Lets see what is next…
