Initial Testing

Hello again Steemians! This article is centered around our CryptoRenaissance event which is the first Steem-powered public exhibition in New York! This show will professionally showcase the tools and resources built for creative professionals on the Steem blockchain and specifically how @sndbox members have integrated them into their practice and daily lives. With the exhibition quickly approaching, we began to test out our projector, in hopes of displaying quality footage of our intro video for Sndbox, with can be found here!

With the World Cup raging on, there were many soccer games that we at Sndboxreally wanted to watch, and decided to kill two birds with one stone by testing out our projector by projecting the soccer games on the wall. The Mexico vs. Brazil game was very intense, and we worked out our brightness and contrast settings in the meantime!

With the projector successfully functioning, it was time to bring it to the galley for on-site testing. There were many factors that were considered, including:

• Height of the Projector
• Height of the Projection
• Dimensions of the Projection through different settings
• Distance from the Projector to the Projection
• Location of the Outlets
• Quality of the Projection
• Brightness of the Gallery Space

Several different scenarios and settings were tested in order to experiment with the different resulting dimensions of the projection, also taking into consideration the pros and cons of each configuration.

After taking numerous photos of the projector mock setup, dimensions were taken in addition to keeping track of the lighting conditions. The exhibition will open at around 7pm, we are anticipating most passerby's to attend during the late afternoon to night time.
