Bali tiger. Extinct in 1937. This species of feline was originally from the island of Bali. It had a very limited territory to survive that was threatened with human expansion. The fear, the hunting and the destruction of its small habitat caused its disappearance at the end of the 30s.
The tiger of Java and the tiger of the Caspian Sea are the other two subspecies that disappeared in the 20th century.
