According to the job listing at Spotify, the company is “looking for someone who can analyze and implement digital payments strategy.”The job description of the company details that the Associate Director of Payments should “look for an emerging ecosystem of distributed ledger technology (DLT), blockchains, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, Central bank currencies (CBCs) and other digital assets.”

It is quite interesting to see the growing interest of streaming services in cryptocurrency.
