AGO have announced the benching of their main AWPer, Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak, who will be temporarily replaced by the team's backup player, Maciej "F1KU" Miklas.
The 17-year-old AWPer has been moved to an inactive role in the squad and will spend "the next weeks doing individual work" determined by AGO's backroom staff, according to a tweet from the Polish organisation.
mhL is one of the four players who were signed by AGO in September following a lengthy tryout process. Recent results have been less than inspiring for the Polish team, who failed to qualify for IEM Katowice and cut a frustrating figure in the first three open qualifiers for the Europe Minor.
Replacing mhL on the roster is backup player F1KU, who stood in for the squad in the first open Minor qualifier, raising eyebrows with a 1.97 rating in the victory against SJ. For the time being, Damian "Furlan" Kislowski will be the designated AWPer of the team, who have been invited to compete in the European closed qualifier for FLASHPOINT, on February 14.
With the adjustments, AGO are now:
Poland Damian "Furlan" Kislowski
Poland Eryk "leman" Kocęba
Poland Dominik "GruBy" Swiderski
Poland Patryk "Sidney" Korab
Poland Maciej "F1KU" Miklas (stand-in)
Poland Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak (benched)
Poland Mikołaj "miNirox" Michałków (coach)
